Default Valentine's Day

Does anyone have a suggestion for a special Valentine's dinner for a new couple to the villages? Are there any special events/menus for that evening? Are reservations required? Is it too late for that?

Thanks for any info.

Carl (new to Villages)

Arnold Palmer's does a VD special. You can order off the menu or they usually have several special dinners for two with app, entree, dessert and wine. We've gone for the past three years. When I made reservations last week, they had a lot of availability, but that could be different now. I just realized, I didn't even check if they were having any special menu this year. Oh well, the food is great anyway.

The Polo Club is having a dinner and a dance and the Waterfront Inn is having an all you can eat buffet.

I think it would be romantic to watch the sunset together on Valentines Day .... followed by a quiet dinner on a balcony overlooking the Lake.

Yea, isn't it nice they littered our main roads with lawn signs every 1/10 of a mile advertising this event. Shame on them!

Yea, my wife was commenting that she would like to maybe try someplace different when she saw the signs. Then, it hit her...she pointed out that signs promoting TV events don't seem to disappear like the other signs. Hmmmmmmmmm...

Decided to stick with Palmers anyway.
