Default Vic Embers

Went to Vic Embers last night. Was greeted at the door by the owner in a suit and tie. He made me feel like he'd been waiting for us all night. Just so accommodating with our seating request.

There was bread brought to the table with herbs and olive oil as well as sweet creamy butter. Then we ordered a Caesar salad which they made table side. Absolutely fabulous!! It took her 10 minutes or so preparing it right there. So yummy! Then we had the corn chowder and it was flavored beautifully and the consistency was perfect! I ordered the petite fillet with vegetable medley, and baked potato with scallions. Glass of red wine with the meal and a singer in the background singing a varied genre of songs.

This place seemed like an old time restaurant with character. It is not a new and polished place. The food was outstanding, our waiter was at our beck and call and oh by the way, my steak was cooked to perfection and went down way too easy.

What a great night out off campus!

We have dined there twice so far and both times have been fine. It is a very nice place with outstanding service.

We use this restaurant for special occasions and have gone there 6 different times over the last two years and every time it's been outstanding from service to food.

GREAT top notch service. They recently had a nice write up in STYLE magazine. Noted for their steaks. Linen table cloths. Like old world Italian decor. Loved it!!!

Vic's is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. Vic himself is often there and the food and service has always been outstanding.
