In different areas. If a business plan is successful than why not? Too Jays has three locations here. Not everyone seeks the same food. I would say that the ones that duplicate themselves and remain in business are frequented more. They must be doing a lot of things right.

We went and found it very acceptable. It is close by and reasonably priced for daily dining. Nothing special like Rose Plantation, but that is a rare treat. I just don’t cook as much as I used to

We went to Havana on Wednesday for dinner..party of 4. Arrived 6pm...quickly seated. Drink order came back confused but it was quickly corrected, Calamari was outstanding and plenty enough for 2 at $10. Think of it as Bang Bang calamari....its good. I had the steak for $20...came with baked potato, spinach and a wonderful bleu cheese sauce. Steak was good size and fairly tender for $20. Comparable steak at palmer or lopez would be around $34 and their steaks have always been good Palmer get + for quality, size = between Hanava and Palmer, Cost benefit goes to Havana, ambiance + for Palmer. Overall I would take either steak.

2 parties had fish and chips and both agreed they were good and plentiful plus alot of french Fries. Our 4th had a pasta dish which was fine....no complaints.

No meal specials but they will be coming in the future...they are trying to get the wait staff and kitchen in Synch with the existing menu .

I have never been a fan of the waiter takes your order but the runner brings your meal . Your table should be cleaned before the meal comes out without having the patrons having to be concerned where to put the dirty or clean dishes. THIS NEEDS ATTENTION!!

Otherwise it was a nice evening..they had a nice crowd for a wednesday night, and hope to see them improve as the months progress. We will return

We have had dinner at Havana a couple of times since opening and have been pleased with the food & service.

I can say that the folks there are honest and we appreciate that. Last time we ate there we payed by credit card and apparently we added the bill plus tip wrong giving them an extra $10. I did not notice until receiving my monthly credit card statement and was pleased to see that Havana charged us the correct amount rather than what was written on the slip. Kudos.

Stopped by Monday had the Cuban sandwich that we have had many times before, not on same level as Cuban restaurants, but still good. Not busy, wait staff took our order in reasonable time. Sandwich came to the table almost nuclear. Almost like it had been made earlier and than put in the microwave. Asked for mustard on the side, could not open the bread up it was so hot, bread was soggy. It was a good 5 minutes before a bite could be taken. No flavor and very disappointing.

Wait staff came by to ask how was the food. I opened the limp still steaming sandwich and the small amount of meat. She comments that that’s the way Cubans are made now. Dropped the bill on the table and left. Maybe she’s just upset with the amount of unhappy customers. This is the second time unfortunately we’re not going back. Too bad because it’s only a few minute drive for us.

Loosely translated, Ropa Vieja means "Old Clothes".

I wish more people found it unacceptable then when I go back next time I wouldn't have to wait for a seat. Have been there several times as It's right down the road and have not been disappointed yet. Guess I'm not as picky as others.

I was reading in another thread that us folks not from major metropolitan areas do not have a sophisticated pallet. Maybe that is why I enjoy Havana as well.

Hey Chat for someone who dines out maybe one night a week you should stop by Havana and see that it's doing very well with a wait list.
