Default NYPD Pizza

I will make this really quick: Ordered a large pizza on Sept.13th 2013 a Friday $ 20.00 and change.

Now NYPD touts their pizza as a taste of New York..ya know what they should be Arrested !!The Pizza is really terrible, I had Pepperoni, Sausage, and Cheese. Simple right ? What I got was a very bland run of the mill pizza, that you can get anywhere.

Honestly Do Not Waste your time going to NYPD expecting a good pizza you will be sadly disappointed." A Taste Of New York " Give me a Break " !!

As an ex New Yorker, I have thought that NYPD sometimes gets it right but other times does not. But their "off days" are still better than Papa Johns. When I simply must have pizza, I do NYPD or Belleview Pizza.

I have liked NYPD almost every time I have gone there. I have only been to Buffalo though having never had the opportunity to visit New York City. I would put Flippers as the best pizza in the Villages' area with NYPD second. Giovanni's is also good.

I was NYPD,,,,, and NYPD Pizza does not represent NY City Pizza. Try Flippers or Bravos

I was disappointed to find that Giovanni's uses canned mushrooms.

If you put your salad on top NYPD is not so bad.

Toscani's is pretty good.

Truth is it's not happening. If you doctor it up it's not bad. I had Flippers with ricotta and eggplant-pretty good. NYPD with salad-okay. Most places do a bit better with calzone.

Forget al dente pasta, that don't happen either.

Default Really like NY PD Pizza

We've been NYPD Pizza on several occasions and all but one time the pizza was very good. Not sure it's as good as NY city pizza but its good. Flippers has the best pizza and we went to Bravo once and never went back. Simply paper thin pizza and we couldn't pick it up to eat it because the crust was so thin and doughy. But to each their own.

Did anyone mention Little Joeys, up 441 at Baylee on the left? Best I've had here, anyone else have an opinion of them?

AMEN on "everything here is awful". The pizza especially tastes like cardboard with ketchup as sauce. I'll do without until I go back for a visit.

Look to each is own, if anyone thinks that NYPD Pizza is good then who am I to try to convince you otherwise. It is a FRANCHISE that should be your first clue, to advertise their pizza as " A Taste Of New York " is well beyond a joke, it is TERRIBLE !! Hey if you think it's good then keep on going there.
