How did you even remember how good the meal was? 😜

The town I lived in before I moved here had far better restaurants than TV. But I didn't move here for the restaurants. And if excellent dining was so important to me I wouldn't live here. I love The Villages lifestyle. So I don't constantly complain about the lack of quality dining. I don't think people want to hear it.

And don't forget our zoo. People all over the world are following the videos of the progress of Fiona, the baby hippo born prematurely on January 24. She was just 29 pounds which is about 25 pounds lighter than the lowest hippo birth recorded previously. Fiona has made wonderful progress under the care of our dedicated zookeepers.

Fiona's proud parents are Henry and Bibi. It was love at first sight for them, even though Henry is quite a bit older -- actually he is twice her age. BUT the news reported that when they met, age did not matter. In fact, it was said that when their eyes met across the hall, Bibi stared, open mouthed, her tongue hanging out. They have a new 7.5 million dollar home. (Oh my! I wonder if Henry insisted on a pre-nup.)

If you could use a smile, Google Fiona, Cincinnati Zoo, and look up Henry and Bibi, too.

........Wow. Has this thread derailed or what. I helped.

Amen to that. Thanks for the grins.

Pffft! I'm sure they wouldn't mind to add a couple more full time residents to that 1,000 number. Food that is good to some, may not be good to others. Think of it this way - no matter how expensive or how good that Italian meal was to you, it ended up as body waste, the same as the peanut butter and honey sandwich I have several times a week when I'm on the go. Food is food.....

And as to the " if you don't like it, take your money and leave " attitude expressed in this thread, how infantile need we be ? The fact of the matter is there are some institutions and facets of life which can be improved anywhere, and only by recognizing that will those improvements come to fruition.
I could not agree with you more. Well said

$540 for one meal? Must be nice to be able to waste money on such extravagance. My wife complains if I water the lawn too much.....I can't imagine 🤔

Menu | BJ's Restaurants and Brewhouse

My neighbor's son and her grand child were raving about all the choices at the Orlando restaurant BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. Looks like more my price range and taste.

I have a friend moving to the mountains of NC soon but am not sure where they are going. Not sure if they look at TOTV or not.

Asian. My kids say to say "Asian".

They say also not to call younger people "Sweetie".

I don't pay any attention to them.
