You are so dead on!

Why in the world would anyone live in a place where there is no decent food to be found? Boggles the mind.

Umm, maybe because TV has never billed itself, or claimed, to be a culinary destination in the first place...versus being a place with a plethora of golf choices and other activities?

What boggles my mind, are those that seem to take great umbrage...in that fact.

I think PB's sarcasm went right over your head.

Not only that, but they honestly believe they aren't bullying people.

Methinks you confuse fact with opinion.

It all has to do with a person's priorities. If my primary desiderata were to escape high income and property taxes, long cold harsh winters and I loved golf, especially on the cheap, I could get by on a lack of conveniently nearby great restaurants. While evidently none are available in or possibly even near TV, I doubt they exist in or near any other exurban retirement development such as a Sun City or Robson community as their demographics connote a fixed income populace.

TV has Publix which I love, and is within reach of a Costco and a Trader Joe's. Both Gulf and Atlantic shore communities are not that far. Tampa and Orlando have some wonderful restaurants so...

BTW, I got the message, it did not fly over my head.

The important thing to me is how I'm treated by the staff and if I have a problem how it's handled by management. That's the deciding factors as to whether I go back again along with the price they charge for what I eat. I didn't move here for gourmet food. If I want a better meal my wife is a GREAT cook and all I have to do is the dishes.
