Taltarzac: My wife and I own Bruster's Ice Cream in the Mulberry Grove shopping center in TV. Patty runs the store....I work full-time elsewhere.

"tis the Nutty Professor indeed. Although, I am lassoed occassionally to make ice cream, Bruster's adheres to very strict recipes using the freshest stuff. The avatar suits me well.....but my full-time profession keeps me in an honest-to-goodness laboratory (clinical biomedicine).

I'm surprised that none of you mentioned TIERA DEL SOL COUNTRY CLUB! It is by far THE BEST Maryland Crab Cakes I have ever eaten outside of Maryland!!!! They have big chucks of crab and not a lot of filling! I heard about them from a friend and didn't believe her, but try them yourself. I believe someone told me they fly them in, I forgot to ask the waitress, but after tasting them, I BELIEVE IT!!! Sandytoes :bigthumbsup:

Since our favorite restaurant doesn't have to be one in TV, I would like to go to Red Lobster more often, but don't like the distance to get there. I don't know what they do to their baked potatoes, but they are great, and of course the cheddar biscuits are worth the trip!

One of the best places for steaks and prime rib is Alfies. It is located on route 25 between Route 42 and the back gate to Del Web. You can get a prime rib for two around 26 bucks. if you go once you will be hooked.best prime rib in the area

Since my sister and I are not down in the villages full time, we were there 3 times this year and love Nancy Lopez' restaurant. The salmon was excellent. We took our friends there in October and they loved it. We also like Cane Gardens, reasonable and very good. TooJays has a very good lunch menu. We can't wait to come down again in March. We are planning on retiring in August 2008 and will spend more time in TV. We will be thinking of our home in Duval while we watch the snow pile up here in Hamburg, NY.

We also like Cane Gardens, reasonable and very good, along with Arnold Palmer. I am originally from Hamburg NY but now live in NJ and in the village of Hadley. My wife a I will be going down to TV for a week or so in November, December and January to hunt for furniture.
