The best place that we found is Publix. They make it in front of you . Their bread is crusty and chewy and that’s how it should be. We ordered from Jersey Mikes once. Worst sandwich ever! Who puts mayonnaise on an Italian sub, and the bread was not crusty .It was made while we were standing their but we could see what they were doing and they never asked what we wanted on it😠

Exactly, Boars Head went from A+ to Failure after epic disgraced filthy Plant disclosures.

After following exactly what went on in those Plants, I'll never, ever again order Boars Head from Publix.

Recently, they said it was fixed, which was a blatant lie, as they were forced to close again for the same multitude of reasons.

Publix Brand isn't very good either, but their stockpile is gone because no one is buying BoarsHead anymore.

Yesterday, at Colony, the only type of Publix luncheon meat was Hot Ham, which is nasty and Sweet Ham which sounds nasty.
Good luck continuing the tradition of making good Italian sanwhiches at home.

Boars Head luncheon meats and cheeses were packed full in the deli cases for anyone brave enough.

Publix. You can customize your sub however you want it. You just have to ask they will make it with whatever cold cuts you want and toppings

I like Jersey Mike's subs, but I prefer the Italian subs from Publix and Subway. The Jersey Mike Italian sub tastes like it has too much ham.

It was a thing a little italian pizza/sub shop used to do in Brighton, MA. Mortadella, genoa, hot capicolla, provolone, two anchovies making a stripe across the top, heated in the pizza oven until the edges of the bread turned brown and the cheese was melted, then topped with olive oil, vinegar, oregano, and hot pepper relish. The bread came from an italian bakery in the North End, they delivered it fresh out of the oven every morning.
