Default Whiskey Creek

I heard that they finally closed Whiskey Creek. It's about time. Too bad they built this beautiful building, right in downtown and now they are out of business. When you tell your customers that one out of every 11 steaks come in bad, and serve shrimp that is old and spongy, how can anyone possibly go there and eat. Good Riddins!

I have eaten there many times in the six months that I have been here. I have had nothing but excellent food and outstanding service. I, for one, maybe the only one, will surely miss Whiskey Creek.

I am surprised to hear that they have closed Whiskey Creek! I thought it was a fairly popular restaurant. Not great food, but we sometimes enjoyed going there regardless. Wonder what will replace it?

Thank God, what a terrible terrible restaurant.

First time I ate there, cold nasty spongey shrimp. The second and last time we didn't even eat. It took so long for the waitress with an attitude to recognize us and bring us our drinks that we walked out.

What's nasty is they didn't even tell the employees. Instead, just left a note on the door wishing them well.

Red, I agree, that is truly nasty! Glad they're out of business with an attitude like that.

I have always had good service and good food. Not the greatest food I have ever had but pretty good. Sorry to see them go but if others have had problems maybe someone new needs to take over.

Does not surprise me at all. The food at this restaurant was terrible.
We ate there several times and the only food that was acceptable was their fried fish. Sad comment for a steak restaurant.
I trust a new and better restaurant with decent food buys the place.

Never even got an opportunity to go to Whiskey Creek. It does not seem that it opened too long ago. Seems like it has only been in business for now less than a year??

Did you ever notice that when a new restaurant comes to TV the owner/manager promises
the best food etc.and for the next month or so many of us villagers crowd these restaurants and try them out. Some are good and some are bad. If the place is bad we do not patronize it any more.
What I am trying to say is that the restaurant owners/managers think that us Villagers are not to bright and they can give us any thing they want and we will accept it,they are very, very wrong.
Restaurant owners take notice of this posting, us Village people can make you or break you.
Give us decent service at a decent price at all times and you will survive here.
Another small piece of advice you might want to consider,if it costs more to put out a decent meal, raise the price, but never lower the quality of the service and food, remember you can only fool us seniors only once, and we will never be back, and as usual the word will get around.

You know the reason Whiskey Creek closed down? The Villages bitch about everything to a point of stupidy!!!!! Get a life you dont always get perfect service in The Villages, and another thing learn how to tip these kids that work in the Villages have to pay for Gas, Insurnce, Rent, Children... And two dollar tips are not worth the time they spend kissing your ass!!!

Longhorn Steak House seems to be doing well, even in the off summer months. And yet Whiskey Creek with the same menu couldn't make a go of it. They both drew from the same pool of servers. It's got to be poor management or under-capitalization.
