Default Yalaha Bakery

We visited Yalaha Bakery today. It is about 18 miles south of The Villages. The selection at the bakery is fantastic. There is also a deli. We sat outside on the patio and had sandwiches and beers while listening to a local Blue Grass band. It was a great way to spend a few hours. Even in this heat it was not bad being outside since our table was under an umbrella. There were many people sitting around either eating or simply listening to the music. Very nice atmosphere. Right next door there was a small place that sold produce. For certain we will make many return visits.

Thanks for the great info. Will put that in our to-do agenda when we get down there in July. GPS should have no problem finding it.

Default Bratwurst? Can't Wait . . .

Wow, I pulled up their website and it looks like a wonderful place -- an authentic German bakery. Thanks for sharing your discovery! I lived in Germany for 2 years and can't wait to bite into some bratwurst. Here is their website:

Cool Move to SS?

Maybe we could convince them to take over the Starbucks spot that is opening up in SS. We need a good bakery there. Do they have strudel and stollen too? can't find any on their website.
