Website - Zunzibar Middleton, FL — Coastal Cuisine + Curated Cocktails
I ate there for lunch last week, place was nice, bright, clean, and friendly. The menu prices were high, even for The Villages. Menu — Zunzibar Middleton I had the Chicken and squash skewers and they were pretty good but the portion was small. They do not have diabetic friendly meals, only salads and apps. They charged $8 to swap the potatoes for broccoli, which I found unreasonable. My lunch with a Coke Zero was $32, so $40 with tip. Ouch... They have a full bar but only about 8 bar seats. They have a reasonable happy hour between 4-7 with discounted drafts, well drinks and house wines. But few places to sit. Seating is going to be a - serious - issue. They only have about 40 seats inside under AC. They have that much and more outdoors. They have a few covered seats and then lots of open seating. I went at lunch, and there were no people outdoors as it was too hot. I hope they can survive with their indoor revenue because their outdoor seating is only going to be used about 1/3rd of the year. |

I went there today with two of my daughters. I found it to be overall very good. I had the Mahi sandwich which was good not great. One daughter had the chicken skewer which was very good. Another daughter had the shrimp tacos which were very good, better than Victory's. We also had some chips with smashed avocado dip which was good. Service was very good. The prices are high, so if you care about value, then it might not be a great choice. But putting price and value for money aside I thought it was pretty good. Will definitely be back.
