Anyone know way Darrell's Diner @ 17350 SE 109th Terrace Road
is Summerfield is closed??

Bad food! To many locations.

I heard they had a problem with mold in the ceiling.l They went to court to have the owner of the building pay for the repairs. Darell's won so the owners doubled the rent. Don't know if this is a fact, just what I heard. I would say the food must have been pretty good, as they were busy most of the time.

That so called " Diner " is a name only.

# 1 First experience = The breakfast was a total disaster. Home Fries (Frozen)heated over on the grille. Bacon way over cooked. Eggs over easy were barely edible. Toast was only ok.

# 2 Lunch went with friends (7) guys outside, most ordered Hamburgers, & when the Hamburger's arrived, every hamburger looked the same they were 100% frozen cooked on the grille, fries again frozen & re-heated.

They are a case for SNL skit.

We had breakfast there a few times. Nothing to write home about.

Place was always full, or nearly so, when we went, so it had a certain popularity.

Never my favorite, system doesn’t tolerate food, but golf group loves greasy menu. In a few weeks it doesn’t matter the quality or cost every restaurant will be packed.

I had eaten there a few years back and was totally disappointed. Being from Jersey, that is in no way a diner. I refused to go after they had a sign saying DeSantis said masks were not needed.

Their breakfast sandwiches were $5.00, then they raised to $10.00 with
a side which probably cost them $1.00.

One a side note people:

80% of restaurants today have no chiefs,
and the ones that do are over charging.
Their all-bag openers and operate microwaves.

I think I'll save my $$$$$ and eat at home, thank very much.
