Thought that this was worth sharing as it again puts an interesting perspective on groceries and shopping choices. We really have to be looking out for ourselves when choosing and remembering that the companies will go where there is money to be made and consumers who will purchase. We can make a difference when we support the businesses that are really interested in producing healthy life supporting products.

To a certain extent, that applies to ALL companies. Dr. Mercola sells red meat that contains heme iron and copper. Heme iron from red meat puts people at higher risk for all kinds of degenerative diseases as they age. Iron and copper together puts folks at higher risk for Alzheimer's disease.

He either doesn't know it, which I would find hard to believe, or, making money is getting in the way of disclosing this important information to consumers.
