Just a few minutes ago at the corner of El Camino and Buenos Aries I came up to the intersection behind another cart and proceed after the stop. This woman on the other side apparently was going to turn into the medical facility there. She was driving a red yesteryear cart. I just didn't see her turn signal. Sorry about that. I didn't need to be called an a**hole and when I yelled "sorry" I don't think I deserved the middle finger either. Have a good day.

Don, If I'm in your cart and the other person's, I would need triple forgiveness:
For a mistake, and for going off at a mistake, and for going off at someone going off at a mistake. Grace means getting undeserved favor when you make a mistake. I'm trying to be better at that, but I'm not that good at it yet. Kitty |

![]() Speaking of mistakes I am reminded of a visit I paid to my mother, stricken with Alzheimer's while she was being cared for. You can imagine how one would spend a full day heavy hearted witnessing this decline. I had often seen another patient walking the halls wearing three or four hats at a time upon her head. She motioned to me, one day, and asked if I would like to see her room. So I walked down the hall with her and entered her room within seconds the old girl tried to wrestle me to her bed. A nurse hearing the commotion yelled "Annie knocked it off" whereupon she stopped. I walked out of her room both shocked and laughing. The kicker for me is apparently word got around about what Annie had done and you guessed it Mom let her have it. And every time that woman came near me mom advanced . See momma grizzly do always protect their cubs at any age. |

One other item, some of the golf carts have turn signals that are so dim during the daylight, that they are almost impossible to see. I really appreciate when people use turn signals, and I look for them at intersections so I know what to expect.

Some of the front turn signals are so small that you can't see them, never mind the fact that the daylight makes it near impossible to see it blinking. I would suggest that we all get into the habit of using hand signals. This would serve two purposes......one, if someone left their blinker on and another mistook it for them turning it would help avoid an accident, and two, it would let other drivers know your intensions much more clearly having not to depend on the blinker itself. Be safe.

I agree and that was part of the problem. She was facing the sun and when I realized the blinker was on it was barely invisable. I looked closely at a yesteryear cart later. The signals lamps are no bigger than a penny. l avoided a collision in time because i do drive very defensiely anyway. She may have assumed I saw the signal. Oh well.
