Down in Pinellas Plaza, in the Library building, the one with the big gold dome on the top.

On 27/441 just north of the hospital. I wish I could remember the exact location but it's in a little mall with a Japanese restaurant.

I just did this and it was so easy. I was quite impressed with their process.
Driver License Office & Motor Vehicle Services of The Villages, Florida
8033 East County Road 466 Suite B
The Villages, FL 32162
DMV Phone Number
(352) 689-4645
Fax352) 689-4646

I went at 8:30'ish in the morning and both times, not a soul in there. This office can also do your car registration. They do have strict paperwork requirements on what you need to bring including passport or original birth certificate, 2 proofs of residence at a Florida address and proof of insurance. Double check me on these requirements so I didn't forget something! This is the website I went to in my research: Driver License Office & Motor Vehicle Services of The Villages, Florida | DMV.org
The other interesting point is that they phrase the process as "transferring your license" and assume you know how to drive and the rules of the road. You do take an eye test. They make your license on the spot. I think it was $55 or thereabouts. Good luck. BTW, I understand there is a second office now closer to Brownwood but I can't comment on that office or even how to get there. Too new!

We just got our licenses at the 441 across from Walmart. Went early no one there and they were very entertaining and fun. Not used to that at the DMV.

We transferred our auto registration, drivers licenses and registered to vote two weeks ago at he Sumter County office at Pinellas Plaza. It took a total of one hour and we got right in during the mid-morning. Make a visit to Gather Go Get the FLORiDA Card: Your FloridaCard Checklist prior to going to be sure you have the paper trail you need. They are fussy about that especially if your name has changed at all from the one on your birth certificate.

If you're north of 466, behind McDonalds on the left of the strip mall - get there when they open (8 am?) and you'll be finished in 20 minutes if all your info is up to snuff. If not come back the next morning when then open and you'll be done in 10 minutes. But don't come in the rain because they don't check VIN's if it is raining.

Greatest DMV office in the USA!

And, if you get injured or sick the Urgent Care on the far right side of the strip mall is great.

www.gathergoget.com/checklist/]Gather Go Get the FLORiDA Card: is NOT a ".gov" website, so be careful inputting your personal data. A private company is gathering your data.

I think the closest one to you is the one on 466 right adjacent to Morse rd. Also accessable by cart path.
