How do I attach photos to a thread reply?

I viewed your instructions. When I open a box to reply to the thread I see no "paper clip" anywhere to click to attach. When I do your second suggestion and upload the photo from my iPad photos is does upload and shows a jpg file there. How do I get that photo in the thread? When I click on it it gives me the full photo but I cannot figure how to get it in my reply to the thread.

The paper clip is in the menu bar next to the happy face. I have attached a copy of the menu bar. As long as the name of the file is listed in the current attachments section of the manage attachments screen, your picture should appear in your post. If your picture is too large, it will not appear.
