Question How do I post photos on this forum?

Hubby and I will be selling some furniture. I would like to post some photos with my furniture descriptions in the "For Sale" section of this forum. How do I go about posting the photos? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you think a step by step is needed, have at it.
And since you cannot find the link, here it is.

Talk of The Villages - Video Tutorial
I found the link, that was the easy part. The instructions are too small so I couldn't see it very well. Is there a way to enlarge it to full screen?

If not, you can enlarge the print on your individual computer by holding down the control key and pressing the plus key a few time. You can reduce it back by holding down the control key and pressing the minus key a few times.

I tried it recently and there is a problem with the instructional video. Could not use it either.

The Villages Florida

I've been online since 1995, so I've been on many message boards over the years. I have always used a third party to store my photos online, I use ImageShack Online Photo Hosting. That way the images are stored online and you can use them over and over at any site you please. Go to the Image Shack link and open an account. Then download your photos to your account page. Then when you want to post a picture, select the photo and copy the photo link. Then on any message board when creating a post, click the shorthand link for image and paste the image location. After you've done it a few times it's not as hard as it sounds.

Instead of using the Quick Reply feature, click Go Advanced. You now have 2 different areas to use to attach a picture.

1. Click on the down arrow next to the paper clip at the top of the box in which you are typing. That will bring up another window that will allow you to browse the files/pictures on you computer that you want to attach. Select the file/picture you want, click open, and then click upload.

OR

2. Scroll down below the box in which you are typing and you will see a button that says Manage Attachments. Click the button and another window opens that will allow you to browse the files/pictures on you computer that you want to attach. Select the file/picture you want, click open, and then click upload.

I have attached a copy of the window that opens allowing you to attach a picture/file.

I hope this is clear and you have success.

The explanation by kfierle was so clear that any fool could follow it and make it work.

Thank you everyone. Have to try it yet so I'll keep this thread bookmarked when I need to post photos of furniture I plan to sell.

The video instructs you to increase the video quality to 1080p and to expand to full screen. This seems to help.

Just when I thought I knew everything there was to know about computers you show me something I didn't know.
Now I realize I don't understand all I know about these things.

Ok...I'm experimenting here. Using the excellent instructions provide by kfierle, I have tried posting a photo of me touching an iceberg this summer in Alaska from the bow of our boat.

My question is why is this a thumbnail instead of the photo. I have tried three different sizes of this photo and even the smallest (which is only 320x240 pixels and 16kb) still comes out as a thumbnail. What's the secret to getting a larger photo view without the viewer having to click on the thumbnail?
