Exclamation tire choice villages

Have not posted in a while, brief summery. Bought 4 tires from tire choice all 4 failed they replaced them with 4 more with a cost of 100 not bad if u forget about changing tires on the interstate. Guess what the next 4 failed and 2 blew out 2 separated. Had to replace them on the road Napa saved us. Brought all 4 of the trailer tires back to 45 Lagrange blvd off 27 . you would think that a business would be beside themselves too help, 3 months later they are still trying to tell me they have no responsibility. I had regional manager that my travel trailer tire never have a warranty. Even so I had purchased an extended warranty. You have too love these guys, they must really need there jobs.most people in the villages have spent there lives helping others, police, firefighters, ems, nurses, soldiers, and all the others that give to people in need. And then we have the bottom feeders. Do not buy anything from any of the tire choice stores they have no integrity. The shame is they have employees that depend on their job and may start out honest but they have to survive. Buyer beware to this date they have never said that they would stop selling defective tires. What fools.

I don't want to go into a lot of details, but I had a terrible experience there as well and I've heard from several other people who were not treated well.

I don't know how they stay in business.

A search on TOTV should be done before you set foot in any of the tire choice stores.

I am a little confused are you saying that you purchased tires for boh your auto and trailer?

Are you saying that these tires failed 2 times or three times

Are these new tires ?

Did you buy all of these tires from Tire choice across from Steak and Shake

With all the negative talk about Tire Choice, I don't know why anyone would still be going there for anything.

Tire Choice without a doubt is the biggest ripoff in TV, word should go out & put all 3 stores out of business.

Hmmmmnnnnnn I wonder if it could be that for what ever reason only a few have had the bad experience while many, many more have no problem at all.

I am very car/mechanical saavy and can honestly say the few times I have chosen them for tires I have no complaints on pricing or service.

And when one goes there the waiting room is always full of customers....very many of which are regulars.

I am not challenging what has been presented here on the thread......Just wondering?

Cool

I have been to Tire Choice a couple times.... I went to the one, close to Steak and Shake to have a flat repaired. I watched what they were doing and noticed they had the hood open and looking inside the engine compartment. I grabbed the shop manager and asked what they were doing, since I only wanted a tire repaired. He talked to the technician and they immediately closed the hood and repaired the tire...

A couple other times I have been to the Tire Choice in Colony. They have repaired flats on my golf cart a couple times...always for FREE. You only need to flip the Tech a couple bucks for his time. The same is true, if you just want to have your tire pressures [in your car] checked and adjusted.

Lastly, I bought a set of tires at the Colony location. I did my own research and told them the tires and sizes I wanted. They were able to order the tires and put them on the next day. There was no attempt to up sell anything to me.

So, for the most part, my experiences with Tire Choice has been positive.

That is the reason I would never go to them, for anything...

For tires Sam's or Costco is hard to beat. Plus if there is a problem, there is always one near by.

It seems that a lot of people have forgotten the issue of the 80 year old woman, who took her 2005 Camry with 20K miles on it for a safety check. They said she had to change & flush all fluids, do a full synthetic oil change and a 4 wheel alignment. The charge was $2450.00
A relative of hers got there to stop the repairs but the bill was up to $1500.00 A neighbor of mine has a car hat has different size tires in the front than the rear. They put all the same size tires on & the car was uncontrollable.

If you buy tires at Sam's, free rotation & balance every 5-8k miles, free flat & road repair.

There has been enough Threads and Posts on Tire Choice to fill a large book. Most of the posts have been " bad" customer service and "up sale" of questionable charges for unneeded parts and service.

TOTV has this well documented and anybody doing business should do so with caution.

Hubby always goes to Tire Choice. We get our tires from them plus they have done a few minor repairs. We have never been ripped off. Hubby knows a lot about cars so no one would be able to sell us something we didn't need.

My only experience was not so good. I replaced my golf cart tires and needed to discard my old tires/rims. They, The Colony store, wanted a fortune to take the tires and rims. Later I found a tire recycler in Wildwood and they took tires and rims for $1.00 each.

When it comes to all other tires I strongly recommend Tirerac.com. You can research the type tire you need and in my case they ship to the Pepboys in Leesburgh in a couple days. Install and tires are a good bargain. Pepboys stores are very good to workwith, they are everywhere. Tire Rack will ship to many other locations as well.

BTW if you don't feel the need for 10" cart tires there are a ton of 8" take offs available that include the rim. Usually for less than one 10" tire.
