There are many reasons folks don't move here---I doubt "hot & bugs" are the real reasons!

These homeowners were awarded 422,000 less than what they paid and it appears the mortgage company took it over as the previous filed bankruptcy. In my view they should have been charged with some criminal offense for not alerting these people of the hazardous conditions and as such should have had punitive damages awarded

If covering house with a tent and gassing it works why didn't the original and/or subsequent homeowners do it?

This situation could be duplicated anywhere brown recluse are found even in TV

Actually I have not read or heard about that much bad news about TV. The article you referenced is in Missouri which has nothing to do with TV. And yes, I know the thread is in the Non Villages Discussion.

So I wonder why the thread?

And no, I have no plans on moving out of TV.

Spider's in Mo.

Guess they never heard of bug bombs. When in ok had to bug bomb about ever 4 or 5 months due to the brown recluse. They are wondering spider's come out at night from behind furniture and down for the attic. So you had to bomb the attic along with all the rooms. Just the way it was in the country.

Nope! Just got here and not planning on going back! Besides that, the news I've read is nothing compared to the news back in California.... And, yes, so many people said to me 'I wouldn't live there, it's so hot, humid and full of HUGE bugs'. I love the heat and trying to tolerate the bugs!! :-)
