Default Essential Golf Cart Extras

My husband and I will be doing our first golf cart shopping this weekend. We have already decided on a new 4 seat gas cart. What do you consider to be necessary or good to have extras?

A high brake light, a speedometer, an outlet for your GPS, IPhone, IPod, etc and side marker lights.

I second both of the above posts. If you plan to use cart a lot and not just for golf good upgraded seats with lumbar support are wonderful !

Seat belts, 12volt outlet, shelf for storage of items like hats etc. upgraded seats. If you buy from a reputable dealer it should already have speedo, lights, turn signals etc. price isn't always everything.

All good suggestions.....I will add another......get a fan for the hot weather, ours is a lifesaver.
Send me a PM and I will give you the name of our salesman. He is the best, and will take care of you after the sale.

If it a Yamaha get auxiliary front lights. The headlights are average at best.

I suggest inside turn signal indicators that are mounted high on the windshield and are bright. We recently had our low mounted indicators replaced with bright units 1/2 way up the windshield (at the top of the lower half).

Now I do not drive a long distance with a turn signal on.

Even better, we have the sure signals that actually beep. They are fairly loud so you can hear them over the gas cart. In my opinion, the beeping ones are better than the ones you have to look at. A friend of mine has the ones that light on the dash and don't beep, and she forgets to turn them off. With a beeper you can't forget to turn them off. It could be a life saver.
