I probably already know the numbers to this poll but might as well ask.

Not sure many people will take part in this one though.

By the way, I just listed these alphabetically, D becomes before R. ;D

I am a registererd Republician, but I am one those whacky libertarian ones. The hard core right of the party would just like to pretend we don't exist. Right, Ann Coulter?

I'm an illegal alien who just walked across your southern border last month, as the guest of Jamel Ahmed Mohammed Ali Al-Badawi who prepared my paperwork.* I will be voting, thanks to Jamel.* But I can't tell you who I will vote for because I might be discriminated against by your radical right wing element - you know how they are. I do so love your "open borders" policy.

As Groucho Marx so eloquently put it: "I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member."

"Independent" doesn't quite say it. "Liberated" may be closer to the truth...

It does appear from the early results of this survey that Democrats are much more involved in TV internet dialogue than Republicans - out of proportion to the "overwhelming Republican majority" alleged of TV residents.

What would this observation indicate to you about Democrats or Republicans?

Don't worry "Ill-Al," as when you least expect it you will be a guest of the government at "Klub Krome," just west of the Florida Turnpike near Miami. It's a wonderful place - similar to Club Med, and it's sort of like a commune - you get to share facilities with like-thinking folk of various cultural backgrounds.

The "Klubmaster" is a sweet gentlemen in a black robe who will see to it that prior to being provided coach (equivalent) class transportation back to your native land, you get to sample fine cuisine prepared as best as can be provided for a couple bucks a day, and even have the chance to wash your own laundry. You'll even get innoculations for TB and a few other maladies. He'll even inform you that the service you receive - food, lodging and transportation - is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for someone who falsely claims US Citizenship in order to gain a benefit or service.

The next time another kindly soul called the Assistant U.S. Attorney will charge you with a felony and make you the guest of the Bureau of Prisons for 18 months prior to being deported again. A third time will be full sentence (minimum of five years).

So, Ill-Al. Enjoy the opportunity to vote. The experience will be quite "unique"........

Oh, but if your Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) could be so effective. But alas, I will join my many brothers without such concerns.

I have great respect for ICE as an agency, and the men and women who staff it.

With a total force about the size of the NYPD, ICE has to cover the entire 50 states, all territories and protectorates, provide investigative staff in many of the embassies around the world, manage/operate detention centers around the country ,and physically escort the worst back to their native lands. As all good cops know, ICE agents can't enforce all the laws all the time, but prioritze their efforts and go after the "worst first" and then work their way down the list.

"Immigration" and "Customs" are two distinct missions, so that's a lot of "mission" for the size of force charged to do it.

So, Ill-Al. It's all a game of chance. The more you run the risk, the longer the odds become against you.
