Par......
I have an all electric 3br Bougainvillea in Duval.
The only full months the house was occupied since our purchase in October 2007 was Jan to end of March of 2008. My average electric bill was about $80.00/month for those full months. We did go out to eat more than we normally do but not everyday. I don't know what a full month during the summer with full time A/C will cost, however, in another thread someone asked the same question and most of the respondants said summer electric bills should be in the $100.00/month range. I hope this helps you.

Florida electricity is cheap compared to up north -- also, The Villages gets very economical a/c units and recently did a study and switched brands -- The last natural gas that I am aware of was done in the pond side of Duval in 2006 -- with all electric, you only have one minimum fee and one set of utility taxes to deal with -- also, you will soon be paying your amenity fee with your electric bill and that is one less draft or payment --Our empty 2 br austin ranch in pool side Duval with the a/c set at 82 degrees just cost me $20 for June -- Hope this eases your concern -- Lucko

The electric company is SECO, you will not get a combined bill from them; the amenity fee will be combined with the water bill. My last electric bill was $120 and gas was $20, you'll find that you eat out way too much, but that won't save much.

Our last electric bill for an all electric 3 br house was close to $200. But then, I'm an a/c
nut.

I too thought that all the new homes were going to be electric but when I was in TV this month we saw a couple of new homes with gas.

Hi, I see you've lived in Po-town. Hello from Rhinebeck. Also a future Villager. What style houses had the gas ranges? I'm avoiding the new houses because I want gas.
Thanks.
