Question Dental Implant

Has anyone had a good experience with dental implants? Any dentist recommendations for implants? I will travel, just not back to NJ.

Make sure your doctor is doing a dental CT before they are placing implants. If they tell you they can use a regular xray or feel the bone run as fast as you can. Most implant failures are do to improperly placed implants. I have watched a lot of dentist take a class for a few hours on a Friday and go at it. Do a lot of resurch before you pick someone. Just because a few people had what appear to be successful implants doesn't mean they were done correctly. Do a quick Internet search for dental implant lawsuits. You will be supprised at the number there are and that some have had multiple lawsuit and are still doing implants. One lawsuit doesn't mean the doctor doesn't know what they are doing but multiple lawsuits ????

I am having one done by Dr. Novak of Bushnell Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. Bushnell, FL Dentist - Bushnell Family & Cosmetic Dentistry - General Dentist His price is right in the middle of what others have quoted on the forum, from different dentists. Also, I find him very ethical. He decided I needed a membrane that he hadn't quoted me originally, and without even telling me, he provided it free of charge. The only reason I know is because his tech told me after the doctor had left the room. She also said it was a $875 procedure.

Besides that, he is very personable. Bushnell is a half hour down 301.

I'm now in the process of implants with Dr. D. Davis on 27/441. Been going to him for perio work and really like him and the price is pretty good. I am having two implants done.

If done properly, you will be happy you had it done. 10 years ago I had a successful implant. It is my best tooth. Unfortunately, it wasn't done here so can't recommend a local dentist.

You're spot on as far as having the technology available to get the ultimate view for placement. It is quite an investment, but there is no getting around it. The most important part, of course, is the interpretation of the view. And that is why a highly sklilled dental implants periodontist is so crucial. But the research and time is well worth the outcome. Proper dental implants are care free.

I got the best Dental Implants in Mexico, with the help of Placidway, a medical tourism company. I was referred by this company to Sani Dental Group in Los Algodones which is a modern and highly specialized medical center. I did not have so much difficulties in undergoing the treatment since the staff were so kind and made me comfortable.

Implants are a multi-stage process. Did you have to keep going back?

Dr. Novak at Bushnell has all the technology and does the dental CT. Not everyone is a candidate for successful implant, and he will tell you that.

Things to Be Kept in Mind Before a Dental Implant
One of the biggest things that everyone will have to take care before going for dental implants is the price of the whole surgery. Dental implants cost a lot and it is not possible for each and everyone to opt for it. It is highly recommended that you should thoroughly research the market before going for it. It is true that the success rate of the surgery is quite high but you just need to know as to what are the market prices.

And keep in mind while you're doing the research to ask if the quoted cost of the implant includes the cost of the final crown. some doctors do the work up to but not including the crown, for which you go back to your own dentist, at an added cost.

The best dentist I've ever been to: Kirk Kaliogiannis in Lyndhurst, NEW JERSEY! OOPS -- you said you won't travel -- too bad -- he is great! Also teaches dentistry with an emphasis on implants 1 day a week at NYU.
