Default Kitchen Faucet Warranty

After 8 years our kitchen faucet kind of failed. I probably could have taken it apart and decalcified the swivel but a call to Delta Faucets resulted in a new faucet being sent ($200) . Be aware of lifetime warranty for original purchasers. Same with outdoor entry/garage lights and door key entry sets finishes.

Glad they stood behind the product after 8 years. Were they easy to deal with about the type of problem?

Yes, I have used the lifetime warranty for the delta shower parts but I had no idea the outside garage lights were also covered under a lifetime warranty by that manufacturer. Have you ever used the warranty on the lights?

I also had to call Delta for a replacement piece for my kitchen faucet. They were wonderful. No charge and I had it within a couple days.

Tell me more about the outdoor garage lights. Who was the manufacturer and did you deal with them directly. The finish on our outdoor lights including the lamp post has really gone bad.

Id love to hear about outdoor lights too. I went to pikes who installed and they pretty much said 'tough, you'll need to replace'. Seems to me the paint shouldn't be peeling off after a few years.

I need to correct the post about lifetime warranty on the lights. I had mine replaced during the first year under the Village warranty. Sorry for the error in my post.

The Delta people were great in their service.
