You all say he has no experience and never did anything and now you want to say its all his fault. Did you forget about the disgraced Republican Governor of IL.

I wouldn't be pointing fingers today have you seen the DOW?

Got Cash? The FDIC is running out of money.

Doing NOTHING is probably what has caused the sad state of affairs Illinois seems to be in. Leadership means.... well to LEAD! That's not what he was hired for.

Then again maybe he has been a leader in Illinois and this is the result. In either case it's certainly not entirely his fault but he shoud take a good portion of the blame.

Has anyone seen any of this reported on the news? Nope I didn't think so.

Excuse me but you quoted the murder rate going up in Chicago. Was Obama the mayor or Chief of Police. What does he have to do with the murder rate in Chicago?

Should we be looking up the crime rate in AZ?

What does this have to do with the issues?

Have you seen the Dow today....DOWN OVER 400 POINTS Can the soup kitchens be far behind? The FIDC is almost out of money...take a look at your bank accounts make sure you don't have $100,000 in a single account.

Check out your bank...10 have failed this year. How is the health of yours.

Cologal - What is it, as a Senator, that you expect BHO to do?

If not help with the crime rate
Lower Taxes
Improve employment in that state
Improve Health Care in that state

Then what?

I think he is a US Senator...not the Governor of Il or Mayor of Chicago.

I think Obama has been doing the same thing that McCain has been doing for for the past 18 months.

Thumbs up Chicago

Puterguru, your post is beyond ridiculous. A Senator has nothing to do with the day to day workings of a particular city or any of the numbers you have stated. I've seen you Republicans reach before, but this is truly from Fantasyland.

Now for Chicago. I'm from Chicago and I'm proud to call it my hometown, even though we now live in The Villages. You can slam whoever you choose, but you cannot slam Chicago. It's a city filled with wonderful people, cultural attractions, cool jazz and sophistication. The skyline is stunning and people are second to none. The sports fans are uniquely loyal and true, whether winning or loosing. The food is scrumptious, The Art Institute holds some of the greatest treasures on earth, you can't help but fall in love again on Navy Pier, the concerts, the opera, the Historical Society, The Natural History Museum all surround Lake Michigan. I'll put all of this up against anything you have to compare it with.

If you really want to get into a "schoolyard fight" why don't you state where you're from and let me do some digging. Like Cologal says, pay attention to what counts. It's Economics! And McCain got us there in his 26 years as Mr. De-regulation!

Nice try, but I did not slam Chicago. Just stating some facts. I believe you should be placing your anger with the leadership in Illinois. Hmm only one person I know of comes to mind. OBAMA for change!

I think the bulk of our "congresspeople" are a bunch of ladies of the evening.

Unfortunately, "ditto". And Obama is likely to add a radical, socialist, and racist twist to the harlot-like behaviors.

Chels I don't think I've ever agreed with you before, but you are right about Chicago. It is the greatest city in the world. When I win the lottery, ( I guess I better start buying tickets) I'm buying a condo on the lake.

Sally Jo, I bet there's a lot we agree on, just not in this crazy heated political time. Whew! Is this the wildest election or what! Anyway, I hope you do win the lottery and get that condo on the lake you want. It sure is a beautiful sight.

What does this even mean Fumar? Are you talking economics? Are you being a snob, thinking that people are not as well as off as you? I sincerely would have to laugh if that were the case. Care to explain yourself?
