I watched an interview with Rubio on Meet the Press this morning. He was speaking about the Iranian negotiations and the release of the Americans held. He wouldn't have negotiated with them but gotten real tough instead. He looks more suited to play the love interest in a remake of the movie Deliverance than he does being commander of the US military. IMO

Rubio is not a fool, but he knows that supporting any action, ANY ACTION, that Obama has taken is a death sentence in the GOP primary. When he was in the Florida legislature he was quite able to negotiate and work with others. He is well aware that what he said was garbage. When he cited Reagan getting the embassy hostages back on his first day in office, he forgot to mention it was not because of the severe sanctions Reagan was going to impose (none) but rather that the Iranians were getting lots of goodies from Reagan in exchange for those hostages, goodies that Carter would not deliver and the Iranians needed to wait for Reagan to be in office to pay him off knowing that it was the Iranian hostage crisis that handed him the Presidency. Iran/Contra Now that was a real scandal

Interesting rewrite of history.

Fiction is more interesting when it is at least based a little on fact.
But, fiction is a liberal's best tool. Some folks will believe just as they might believe in aliens from outer space.

Oh, I am sure it will be interesting to watch Sybil talk to herself over at the City Fire. Be careful, because if your laughing gets too loud they might just cut you off. After all, those tables are meant for more than one real person. They may ask you to take a seat on the bench outside the door. Kind of like how you get treated here, right?

The best we can do?

Well for the past seven years, we have seen America's worst. If I thought Hillary had any chance at all, I would reserve judgement for a while. But so far, Obama is the worst, so the best does not have a very high bar set.

individual bases their choice on the cover of a book. If looks had been the criteria Nixon wouldn't have been elected(and if you discount the Nam mess and watergate-bill clinton did much worse) he was thrown into he was a very smart man. Abe Lincoln was homely and Grover Cleveland was a fat slob.

Iran book has many chapters to go, we see if negotiations with them actually works. I have my doubts? Question is what will the civilized world do when (not if) dirty nuclear bomb goes off killing who knows where and its traced back to Iran?

They will most likely wait until Obama is out of office. They would not want to put their benfactor on the spot.
