Default Is this the best we have?

I'm a registered Republican who is very disgusted with my primary candidates. But as poor as I think my party's candidates are I'm looking at Hillary Clilton and asking myself what in hell is wrong with us as a society? To think this person has a chance of being the leader of this country troubles me. Although Sanders is not my second choice, he would be my pick if I was a Democrat. When I see a room full of people cheering Hillary Clinton I have to ask what has happened to us?

I can understand your disgust in the Republican candidates. The only decent one is John Kasich and he does not have a prayer. Trump, Cruz, and Rubio are embarrassing to the USA if they were ever elected as President.

Bernie Sanders would be a terrible president. Absolutely nothing would be passed by Congress.

Hillary has experience as a former First Lady and she was the brains of the Clinton presidency. She will be an excellent President.

Hopefully voters will get a majority of Democratic members in Congress so things can be accomplished instead of just more divisive politics.

our biggest problem as Republicans is that we have so many good people...makes the vote get separated and dissipated....but in the end i think Donald Trump will be our next president and will do a great job.

To the poster that suggests that Hillary would make a good president because she was married to a president........or you out of your bleeping mind? You shouldn't even be allowed to vote, if you are that stupid.

Next thing you will say is that she should be president because we have never had a female president before.

Do some research on her and her husband and you will find out how much trouble this country would be in if she was elected. They are the most corrupt couple in politics of ANY previous administration, including Nixon. Shoot, after the FBI gets done with them, the IRS will be taking their turn.

I hope you are right. The Donald's record on PolitiFact is one of the worst yet people still vote for this man.

And nothing he has said so far is remotely practical and it also creates a huge government and pushes us into war with various countries if he acts on his various promises.

Bush quit, so Rubio will pick up much of Bush's voter base. That is going to make him almost even with Trump. If kasick drops out, Rubio will pick up his base and give him the majority. However, if Carson gets out, Trump may pick up a lot of his votes. It's going to be Trump and Rubio in the home stretch. I think that the more people see of Trump the more they will see that he is a loose cannon. My vote is still leaning toward Rubio. So far, Trump has been hands off on Rubio. Is he thinking that Rubio would make a decent VP running mate when he gets the nomination? If so, a Trump/Rubio ticket would be a landslide win in the general election. The Clintons would finally be handed their walking papers.

Voters recognize that there is not a perfect candidate. However, we are in an election year and not just an ordinary one, but a critical one and we do not have one candidate worthy of this office.

America has watched as a man whom they knew was worthy of this position but voted for him because of either party or because of his color or both. His presidency is so replete with bad judgments, irrational decision and child-like behavior that it would take the 7.5 years he as been in office to list them.

It shocks the conscience to realize that anyone would vote for Hillary given her record of dishonesty and incompetence. Indeed the political and elite class have gotten so powerful that given the allegation against her that she is even allowed to run. One has to go no further than understand the danger she placed this nation with the use of a personal server so that she could hide her record.

Bernie Sanders is preaching marxism and voters are cheering. Are these voters so unaware of the fact that marxism, communism socialism is the enemy of this free nation. Free stuff translates into we own you and i for one do not want to be owned by anyone and especially government

Trump is all bluster. But the biggest fear I have is that he has not given one idota of detail as to how he will serve as our president. he has tapped into voters anger and they have responded irrationally

Bush it is said will suspend his campaign

Cruz is another danger in my mind. he has been unethical in his campaign. I question his citizenship

Rubio is indeed too inexperienced and yet is the best of this bad lot

Kasich is a RINO and his decision concerning Medicaid concerns me.

So here we are 8 months from voting for the next president and not one in my mind is suited for this important position and a a very critical time

Personal Best Regards:

Nope, I don't see it happening that way. If there is a Trump/Rubio ticket, they will definitely be up against Hillary, but we we don't know who her running mate will be. In addition, as someone else mentioned, mainstream Republicans will surely see Trump as a loose canon, Rubio as a right wing fringe nut and I suspect he won't get any votes from independents either. Hillary, on the other hand, is the only person running with serious foreign policy credentials. And in this terrorist climate, that is one of the most important credentials of all. Plus, she clearly will get the votes of blacks and people of color, who are a majority in the country. I don't see any way she can lose, based on who the Republicans are offering up.

Doesn't this say something about you and your repub party as a whole. Maybe the answer is, your out of the the mainstream, after all you are the minority.

Kasich decision on Medicaid shouldn't concern you. He put the health and well being of his citizens before his party. There is a poll that has Kasich beats Clinton by over 10%. All the others were a toss up. He won't be the Republican nominee, because sanity has left this election.

Rubio's inexperience can be overcome by good advisors. The question is does he know any, or who will send them in his direction.

Trump, and Cruz will be the worse thing that could happen to this country. If anyone thinks that this two clowns will be able to get anything done in DC, they have no idea how DC works now. Gridlock is the name of the game.

If either of these two gets nominated, you can say hello to President Clinton. Republicans will have no one to blame, but themselves. Four years of having to listen to her is a faith worse than death.
