Default Thrown out of Villages Recreation?

On Dec. 10, Hendricks was informed by letter by the Villages Recreation Department that he was banned from all facilities. He lives in the Del Mar...

Just read this in the on line....How can you not be allowed to enjoy the recreations in a community you pay for????

That doesn't seem fair....Wonder what he did so wrong....?

does he still have to pay the amenity fees...

Villager with history of erratic behavior taken into custody on trespassing charge

A Village of Del Mar man who remains banned from all Villages recreation centers and Town of Lady Lake properties has been jailed on a trespassing charge.

Richard Neil Hendricks, 79, who lives at 1209 Maria Court, was taken into custody Friday morning by Lady Lake police. He was booked at the Lake County Jail.

On Dec. 10, Hendricks was informed by letter by the Villages Recreation Department that he was banned from all facilities. He was arrested at a Chula Vista Recreation Center on Friday.

In 2010, the Lady Lake Commission took steps to have Hendricks classified as a vexatious litigant because he was filing so many lawsuits against the town. By that time he had already been barred from all town facilities after an incident involving a knife at Lady Lake Public Library.

He has a serious of arrests for trespassing, failure to appear in court, and violation of probation.

Hendricks had recently sought to have Lady Lake end its ban on his presence at town facilities. Commissioners unanimously agreed to keep the ban in place.

Here's another part of the story.

A 79-year-old Villager was arrested Sunday at the Orange Blossom Hills Country Club swimming pool.

Richard Neil Hendricks, 79, of the Village of Del Mar was in the swimming pool at 11:15 a.m. Sunday and the manager of the country club had repeatedly asked him to leave. Hendricks, who reportedly ignored the manager, has been banned from the pool.

Lady Lake police arrived on the scene and arrested Hendricks on a charge of trespassing. He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $1,000 bond.

Hendricks had been arrested in March when he showed up at the Chula Vista Recreation Center. You can read about that arrest HERE

I think it would be worth the $145 per month to the Villages Recreation Department not to have him around.
Seems as though some people just do not want to be happy.

What is the purpose of this post? Seems clear it has very little to do with the facts.......
