Default Buyers remorse

Hearing more and more of this from folks who thought they were "buying" change and who ignored those who said that this had to happen (I will admit never thought it would be so quick), but what is happening is so disheartening.

I have heard it from a lot of friends who were enamored with the pretty talk, but just read where Larry Kudlow is hearing it a lot also !!!

How can anyone be surprised by what he is doing? He told you over and over that he was going to redistribute wealth, put in national health care, cut defense, and about everything else he is doing. He has a history of being the most liberal senator in the country. So how can anyone be surprised? People are getting exactly what they voted for. If he said something else and did this, then you could have buyers remorse. But he is doing what he told us he would do. You can certainly have remorse because he won as I do. But if you supported him, your getting what you voted for.

Well, as for me, you are preaching to the choir...I spent all fall posting and posting and warning and warning.

There are those however who really believed he would be different, but as you say if you look at his record AND his training and background...this is what he is.....go after those he considered rich to make it right for those he considered less fortunate...on the surface it sounds so comendable, but at this point anyway, he is pushing this country to out right socialism so fast.

Point...the unemployment money in the stimulus bill forces the states to pay unemployment for part time workers as one area that is new and you do not get any money after a time thus you MUST raise taxes to pay, plus the allowing of folks who work partime to collect unemployment has far reaching results.

NONE...NOT ONE of those impacts were discussed by our congress...NOT ONE. Those who voted for this did so BLINDLY.

This unemployment "hidden item" is one of many that will face these states in the future, meanwhile the radical left wing groups are getting tons of money which will be, and they are open about this, used for political purposes.

Default Get Real

Gee sure wish I had listened to you guys. The troika of Bush Chaney and bumsfeld bankrupted the country and should be given a fair trial and then executed. The man needs to be given a FAIR chance and if he fails then vote him out. close to 50% of 50 years of savings has evaporated under their policies. So people get real and get behind OUR president and grow up and stop crying. We are all Americans and tired of being screwed by both sides of the aisle.

Bill2fish,

I agree and not just because I like you! This didn't all happen in a month, so how can we expect things to CHANGE so quickly?

I suppose we should simply forget the banking hearings of approx 5 years ago when Barney Frank, et al ignored all the warnings...OR....forget 10 years ago when President Clinton pushed home ownership for the poor...PUSHED IT and was warned. You folks keep mentioning Bush, and HE FOR SURE HAS RESPONSIBILITY, but you ignore all the other more direct links.

I surely want President Obama to come up with something to solve all this financial stuff, AND resolve the many many crucial and serious international situations, however...

I said it day in and day out in the campaign.....there is NO....NOT ONE...NOT ONE SINGLE chance that he is not going to take us as far left to socialism as is humanly possible with this congress.

If you read his background..his training...those he was associated you will find all the reasons for my belief. Everyboidy gets upset with the connections to the radicals so check out a fellow named Mike Kruglik a man who helped mentor him in Chicago and worked very hard on his Presidential campaign and what he says about President Obama.

Peolple get sick of the Ayers, Alinsky, Wright, Farrakhan connections and have now completely put them in the background, but if you revisit them what is happening is no surprise...as I have said before, ONLY the speed in which it is being done is surprising.

Bush, FOR SURE, shares some of the blame but the implied innonence of the others is just recreating history !!!

Default change is not always good

Those who voted for Obama and the democrats have every right to change their minds. If they thought they had a better direction to take the nation, and now see they are taking us head on into a brick wall, I think they should speak up and say this is NOT what we should do.

YES...a brick wall that only the government can rescue us from...sound like a plan ? We are going to be to the left of France very soon.....the financial crisis is being used as a reason to steer us there.

When the final accounting is done, odds are that we will see the net worth of all of these "leaders" has risen during this economic debacle. There are just too many special interests and select companies with freight cars attached to the "stimulus" gravy train, and they will reward those who hooked their cars to the locomotive. They always have.....

Give him a chance? I can't figure out why people are so blind. He is lying. There are no middle class tax cuts. NONE.

Now he's pushing cap and trade which will raise all our gas, oil and electricity costs which in effect is a tax increase on everyone including the poor. He wants to also raise taxes on the "wealthy" the ones that provide most of our jobs. What a bunch of class warfare BS.

When our gas and heating prices skyrocket are you going to blame that on Bush to?

Don't forget the trillions and trillions of dollars being added to our debt that we will never ever pay off. Free health care, free everything. Where's all this money going to come from? The rich? Think again.

You hammer Bush for adding to our debt and then give Obama a total pass when he triples it in 30 days.

The stock market crashes every time he announces a new plan and that ain't Bush my friends.

He looks everyone square in the eye and says no earmarks in his budgets and two days later we find out there are almost 9000 of them and the markets crash again. No one says a word.

Obama doesn't care the slightest bit about pulling us out of a recession. He is seizing the opportunity to reverse every single principal that our country was built on. Like his chief of staff said, "never let a crisis go to waste."

And some sit blindly by and say give him a chance because it's all Bush's fault. Get a clue.

I can't help but think if Obama announced today the sky is really green people would fall right in line. Bush has been lying to us all this time about the sky being blue.

What are you all going to do 20 years from now? Still blame everything on Bush? Clinton gets a free pass, Jimmy Carter gets a free pass, Obama gets a free pass but it's ALL Bush's fault right?

This whole thing makes me sick.
