All attendance records were broken today at the TOTV luncheon at Crispers. Every outside table was filled to capacity. The old timers at the luncheon tell me that there were tons of new faces and lots of familiar ones too.

The video was great. I shot over an hour of video tape, and now my work begins boiling it down to a few minutes.

I had a really great time with a smile on my face most of it. It give me such a warm feeling to know that what we started a little over two years ago has turned into such a powerful force in The Villages. The primary force of power, is the friendships that have developed as a result. Thank you all for being such wonderful people and for allowing us to share the experience with you through Talk of The Villages. You'll never know how thrilling it is to see such nice people exchanging such marvelous conversation with no malice toward anybody. That's what TOTV is all about.

I'll have the video finished in a few days and will post it here and on YouTube.

Thanks to all who attended today's luncheon. I'll not name names lest I leave someone out.
You all made us feel so welcome and at home. To "old imaginary friends" we've met for the first time, to the new friends we met today.
We look forward to our future in TV and being part of the TOTV family.

I can't wait for the video TH, it will be so much fun to see all the peeps that were there. Tal, I think we had about 500 people this time and about 1/2 of them were newbies. There may be a housing problem around the rest of the country, but you can't prove that by TV. Everyone is here looking to buy. Its such an exciting time. I wish you had been there Tal, many people were excited to meet us oldtimers and to tell us how much they enjoy the information and posts. It was a really great time.....
