I just replaced my current tempur-pedic this year and recommend you stay with the brand. I looked at few others and no comparison. If you like a mattress that is a little on the firm side, recommend trying the Contour Elite. I originally purchases the Cloud Elite and exchanged after 30 days - it was too soft. Mattress Firm is the best of the bunch -- locations across from Brownwood, 27/441, etc.

Default Not for us

We bought one about two years ago and for me it was not what I thought. The mattress seems to cradle you in the bed. You kind of sink into it. I thought it would be more firm and allow me to sleep on the top of the mattress instead of sinking into it. We flipped the mattress over and are sleeping on the other side which is not really meant to sleep on. It is firm and does the trick for us. Maybe we bought the wrong type? I believe it was the next to the last firm option that we could buy. People love them....I wouldn't buy another. I have back problems so buying a mattress is an event to say the least! I wish I had a 30 day trial period for such an expensive mattress.

Sleep number-the best for bad backs & you don't need super human strength to lift the mattress when making the bed

I agree .My chiropractor back in Massachusetts recommended I get one over 15 years ago and it has been the best thing for my back & neck. The ability to adjust the firmness from sinking in to sleeping on a board and everything in between seems like everyone should have one.It is the only mattress you'll ever need.

I thought I saw a new Sleep Number Bed store on 441 in Lady Lake across from Rolling Acres Plaza. Caught my eye cause we have been sleeping on a Sleep Number Bed for years. Best bed we ever bought.

Bought the Sleep Science Ara adjustable bed through Costco Online for about 1/5 the price of a Tempur Pedic. We have had it now about 3 years and absolutely love it. Ours is a split King. Had White glove delivery and set up service and the best part about Costco is that it is returnable at any time with no questions (like in several years if any issues). If you pay for white glove delivery and set up service, you also get the same service if / when you decide to return it at any time in the future. The $50 Costco Membership is well worth it and you really have nothing to lose to try it ! I have found the brick and mortar retail mattress stores to be very pricey.

Mattresses are so hard to purchase!! Lot's of changes in quality and material. The thing I miss the most about mattresses, was when you were able to turn them over when you needed to.

The original mattress factory makes a flippable mattress- we had one in king size--we & I mean we--could just about lift it to make the bed--got rid of it for that reason

Everything use little then throw a way. They got use thinking after 6 years or so buy another over priced Product. Just like washers, refrigerators, cars, disposable.
