Default Bravo's Awesome NYC pizza

Pizza is so regional, it's tough to pick "the best." Paulies was only at the Square- and the Square was all there was, along with Winn Dixie! Anyway, the crust then was very thin- crispy yet tender the way a Brooklyn, New Yorker loves it. Over the years, we've found that Paulie's crust has gotten thicker- preferred overwhelmingly by mid-westerners, but not as "New Yorky" as it used to be.

We love Bravo now, even though we still live over by 441. There other food is great too, especially the ravioli with spicy tomato-sausage sauce.

By the way, "greasy" pizza is a sign that the pie is made with real whole milk mozzarella, and although higher in fat than part skimmed, should not be construed as a bad thing- just use a napkin to sop it up!!

Not New York or Brooklyn pizza to us New Yorkers and former Brooklynites.

Although Pauly's dough is thicker, they have the taste down pat.

Try ordering a Marguerita Pizza at Bravo, raw sliced tomato is what you get and it was awful. JMHO

Oops, forgot to mention my favorite Giovanni's, with Pauly's a close second.

thin? THIN? Chicago-style deep dish is better every day!!!!! It's special. Too bad there is nobody who can make it here, not like NY where if you can make it here you can make it anywhere.

Pizza, good bread and bagels just don't happen here.
Lower the bar and you won't be disappointed.
Comparing NY vs Chicago pizza is like comparing apples and oranges.
Two different foods, both good.

We like Belleview Pizza

Big City Pizza is garbage

Bravo Pizza - been there, done that

Don't like deep dish pizza at all - not "Chicago Pizza" when I grew up there

Will have to try Pauly's in SS (and Palm Ridge, wherever that is, on Cassie's recommendation)next time in TV

Default Palm Ridge Plaza is across CR101 from the New Covenant United Methodist Church.

This is just north of the Southern Trace Shopping Plaza at the corner of CR101 and Woodridge Drive.

I like Giovanni's the most for price and quality.

Where is Giovanni's? Yesterday, I stopped in at the pizza place by Belks near Spanish Springs. Just okay and expensive I thought.

Default Giovanni's is probably about 1000 feet from Palm Ridge Plaza and Pauly's.

Giovanni's is in the Souther Trace Shopping Center, where Crispers's is.
