Default Going straight to PLAN B Reverse snow bird

We listed our house almost three weeks ago and today was just the first showing. I knew the house just isn't in the right price category for this market. Maybe Obama will get someone in Cuba to buy it.

Our friends around the country always ask why in the world we want to leave Charlottesville, VA. http://www.charlottesville.org/Index.aspx?page=1 Always voted one of the top small towns in the country. The town square is similar and not much bigger than Lake Sumter Landing. Plus big time entertainment. We saw The Rolling Stones recently. We are out in the country with 4 acres, 20 minutes from Charlottesville and 6 miles down the same road as Thomas Jefferson's home and attraction. 5 minutes to 8 restaurants, 2 golf courses and a grocery store. One hour to Richmond

PLAN B... Stay in beautiful Virginia for a while as a base. Travel in our fifth wheel RV and see the country. And now finally the reason for this post. Find someone in TV to trade homes for a month or more from time to time. Let us know if anyone is interested. If not from this forum are there any suggestions how we might find someone. We retire June 30 and are open for any months of the year. This is the house http://www.realtor.com/realestateand...9151?source=ig

I know that I am not answering your question, but I just had to stop in here to say that I loved it in Charlottesville, VA, all those many years ago, back in the 80's. The National Endowment for the Humanities, for some reason, liked something I wrote one time and so I got to spend a summer at UVA. Wow! Mr. Jefferson's University. And a beautiful town. And the restaurants were great, too.

Anyway, I had not thought about that summer at UVA in a long time, but when I saw this I just wanted to tell you how much I liked your town. Great memories of wonderful hospitality. Even though it cannot be me, I bet you will find somebody. I wish you the best.
