How do I determine how much is remaining on my Bond?

A call to the Villages will give you exact amount, and also the date to pay it off, NOTE, it has passed for this year. We just paid ours off. If I recall correctly, these can only be paid off once per year, as I recall the date is in July.

I think it can be paid off at anytime. That being said, it may be too late to have removed from the tax bill they are preparing now.

Paying Off Your Bond

You can pay off your bond at any time during the year.

Contact the Bond Team at 352-751-3900 for the exact payoff figure.

Payoff amounts provided will include the $10.00 County Lien Release Filing Fee

Payments must be made in the form of a check (personal check is fine)

Checks should be made payable to VCDD # X (use your District #)

Payments can be made in person at the District Customer Service Office at 984 Old Mill Run in The Villages

Payments can also be mailed to:

In about 4-6 weeks, you will receive a copy of the Release of Imposition stamped that it has been filed at the County office.

Thank you for correcting me, I must have completely misunderstood the person when I called, great info,

And yes I completely agree you can pay it off any time, but I am not sure if the escrow is recalculated immediately, OP, make sure when you to get all of the details so you pay off at the appropriate time.
