Several people (with books to sell) are coming to TV. Beck, Palin and Huckabee.

Angry Sales People

I thought it was against the rules to solicit in the Villages.

The article about Beck's visit was in the Daily Sun today - along with the restrictions on book signing and picture taking.

Yes I am aware that Glenn Beck is coming to The Villages and I'm embarassed that there will be more than one person there to see him. It's my own fault that I feel this way - I've been really building up The Villages to my friends and this is a real setback. To be followed up with Palin makes it even worse. It's a sad, sad day in Mudville.

This really belongs in the political forum. I certainly have my own opinions on Mr. Beck and Ms. Palin but those comments don't belong here.

Default Attack Attack Attack

I look forward to a new political party that we conservatives could have intelligent debate with.

Liberals are so mean all they do is Attack individuals.

Default I was going to start a new thread but this one seems

to have the makings of the usual partisan urinating contest, opinion, attacks, et al.

How about the article this morning:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009...ok-fact-check/

Why is it news to have to fact check anybody if they care not to fact check the current administration??

Or how about this humorous article:

http://www.reuters.com/article/marke...88108620091118

Remember when he first took office. First thing he and his team started promoting was that the promises he made were going to take longer than expected because _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (fill in the blank).
And now after creating record historical spending he now comes out with the big boy warning in China (of all places).....how lame is the premise?
China makes all our stuff and owns most of our debt.
America just dolts around knee jerking to what ever is thrown at them. China, however, has a plan and they are methodically dealing out as much rope as the US dolts are willing to haul in.

If the "managed" news weren't so humorous it could be depressing...

The problem is? Okay, I think I have it. You don't like the way this country avoided a full-fledged depression. Well, probably the method in which it was done. You don't think the country should work on it's spending and our debt because the statement was made in China. You think that because Palin is a "different kind" of politician that we should assume that she tells the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. That being the case, she should come out clean as a whistle. You'll be so proud and the GOP/Conservative movement will have finally found their voice and their future. Gives me goose bumps!
