So we made it through nearly two years with great neighbors all around until just recently. The house behind us is now full of very loud and profane neighbors who just love to spend the evening on their open lanai talking and dropping the f-bomb. Guess I'll have to crank up Hank Jr. on my lanai speakers. I expect those northerners hate country.

However I just remembered that my grand-daughters left their Sesame Street and Barney albums here and frankly have outgrown them . These might prove helpful for the OP to blast .

It may be easier to talk to them. I'm surprised you would paint with such a wide brush. I'm from the north and have changed greatly since we are now transplanted southerners. Although we will never reach the high standards of the original southerners we strive to leave our bad language behind. So "Bless Your Heart".

Knucky, I tried but I didn't know how to express the same feelings. My language may be rough to some people after a beer or 2 when I think I'm at home talking with like minded friends. But once I realize I made someone uncomfortable I can put the brakes on. Give them a little time to adjust. It does take time.

I hope it's me that catches the mystery pooper and not my wife. Funny story...people would skid in front of our house in disbelief because they witnessed our dear departed Barney pooping in a bag. They all wondered how we trained him to aim so well at the bag. They missed us sliding the bag under him then walking away giving him some privacy. If I caught the perpetrator I would turn it into a funny situation and ask them to stop. I would also tell them that if it happens again I personally will even the score on their property. Trust me that will solve the problem. Confrontation was so before not now we are Southerners. If she catches them....Police Blotter...No Bail...Just Kidding!
