Ever been to this event?

Montana Testicle Festival – Legends of America

I got a T-shirt there. It reads "Have a Ball" and depicts a cartoon of the back end of a bull with its hind legs crossed looking over its shoulder with a look of great anxiety on its face.

I won't even try them. It's the tilapia syndrome.

Balls said the queen.

If I had them, I'd be king.

I've only had them fried, but to me...they taste a lot like venison.

And just like venison, I've had them where they were really good and also when they weren't so good...and on the 'gamey' side.

Over the years I developed a taste for liver and onions. Sweetbreads followed and then kidney and steak pie. You just can not beat chicken hearts when mixed with livers. Tongue is great on a sandwich. Tripe was a natural since I grew up loving Philadelphia Pepper Pot Soup, Scrapple and Headcheese. Oxtails can't be passed up and a great soup is made from most parts of a Snapping Turtle. Let's put it simply, you either love " Offal " or the concept horrifies you. Frankly, beef testicles if prepared properly taste just fine. " Nature's Bounty " is just that ! Try it all, you just might like it.
