Default The Elite Turn Against Obama

Keep in mind Mort is or was a huge Obama supporter / contributor as were many at the Aspen Ideas Festival this week.

“The real problem we have,” Mort Zuckerman said, “are some of the worst economic policies in place today that, in my judgment, go directly against the long-term interests of this country.”

Zuckerman added that he detects in the Obama White House “hostility to the very kinds of [business] culture that have made this the great country that it is and was. I think we have to find some way of dealing with that or else we will do great damage to this country with a public policy that could ruin everything.”

I guess the experts don't agree with Pelosi's statement about unemployment benefits, "It creates jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name."

Or Obama's enthusiam that the recovery did it's job and we are growing again because unemployment is only 9.6 percent and not 15 percent. Obama, "People say unemployment is still at 9.6. Yes, but it is not 12 or 13 or 15 (percent)."

Yyyeess, I'm so happy I could spit.

Pelosi says that paying people to do nothing is good for the economy.

Unemployment is really closer to 20%. Government figures do not account for people whose benefits have expired and the many people who have completely given up.
Also, the millions of people who have taken part-time jobs and jobs that were not related to their training, if they were taken to account, it would probabably be over 25% unemployment rate.

The group meeting this week isn't exactly Fox News, Rush, Glenn or any other conservative group. They are Obama supporters, intellectuals and liberal Harvard economics professors. Even Barbara Streisand was there applauding.

Gee, what a big revelation for them. They bought the Obama cool aid hook line and sinker and now it appears they are sorry.

Us "normal" folk knew all this two years ago... well, some of us.
