Love all the outdoor exercise equipment in the Fenny and Desoto areas but I'll drive anywhere just to some pull-ups! Thanks!

why not just put one in your garage and save the drive. When I was younger and into that I used my fingers and the top of an indoor door frame to do pull ups, try it.

Like to see a Fenny type outdoor gym on steroids, at or near the Polo Grounds...Much better than the old stinky, low ceiling S.S. gym..I would donate $ to the cause...

Easy and simple try this.

Get a rope, find a tree with a branch strong enough to hold your weight and Bingo.

Your Welcome

PS: I have lot's of other idea's.

If I were you I would just order one on Amazon and find a place in either your house or garage to put it up. We have a TRX mounted to an eye hook, which is screwed into a stud on the side of our house, that we use in our birdcage for working out. It works great, and since it is right there in our birdcage we have no excuse for not exercising on a regular basis.

I also thought of City Fire as my first response...

Assuming you have the space, you can buy a "power tower" or dip station for a few hundred $'s and those have an excellent pull-up bar with a number of other exercise options.

I don't like the bars that mount in doorways. You're putting a lot of stress on the door frame (more so for larger people) and unless your short you start in some awkward manner and the grip width is too narrow.

There are plenty of other options out there as noted.

There are two workout areas at Lake Miona. The one farther from the parking lot, behind the restrooms is the one with the pull up bars.

Lake miona rec center definitely has one . Find basket ball court, look down hill, you will see outside exercise area. Push up, sit ups, pull up, etc.

Terrific!!! That’s what I needed to know! NOW I can find out where a pull bar is for a cold beer.
