Default Daily Sun

I will only be staying at my new home in Buttonwood for a week. I know Buttonwood is a distance from the town square. I'd like to read the newspaper in the mornings. Can I pick up the paper at the rec center? I can walk there. Or must a drive forever to get the paper? With my sense of direction- it will be old news by the time I find the paper to read it. Thanks. To Hannon

Most of the postal stations have newspaper dispensers.

I used Postal Station for awhile when I was there for a week. I now subscribe and just start and stop the service to the house when I am there. Works Great for me. Now if I am only in for a couple of days I walk over to a Postal Station, little exercise for me also.

Tom, I am a late sleeper...walk across the street to my drive-way...get the paper...read it ...then throw it back when you are done.

Tom, just get a subscription as it is cheaper. They will let you stop/start your paper as many times as you like, and the subscription is for 365 issues not days, so a subscription may last you 2-3 years!
We do it this way, and it is great. We are going down on most weekends for the next year till full time, and I start it each Thursday and stop each Sunday. It is great. Only Newspaper I have ever known to do business this way, and the phone call is toll free to start/stop! What a deal, what a deal.

I always email to start/ stop ours and there used to be the sweetest woman who would answer and add some nice comment. Now there is a business like response.

Anyone have this experience?

I miss her.

Wow, I didn't know that. That is really a nice service that I'll use also.

All of this starting and stopping is based on the assumption the carrier will follow the instructions. I have had a vacation stop requested and came home to find my neighbor had been picking up the paper......since in was never stopped. This does not happen every time but it could happen.

No problem, Petenj. VG1213 lives directly across the street from me. We have already met in person. It looks like I am moving into a great neighborhood.....at least until I move in.

We on the average start/stop our paper 2-3 times a month and have never had a problem with them either not delivering or not stopping it when we told them to.
