Default Wow! The floodgates have opened.....

.....with cart traffic in Chitty Chatty and Bradford; the amount of carts was incredible.

I like that the CC bridge is open so I can drive my cart to work but I’m going to miss the peace and quiet we had.

Maybe the traffic will die down after the novelty wears off.

With all of the houses being built in Hawkins and St. Catherine, golf cart traffic will only get worse.

Of course, that will not be a problem for most people in Bradford because the MMP pretty much goes around the outside of that neighborhood. However, it will be tougher for many houses in C-C because the MMP is right in their back yard.

Our home is located a bit south of Lake Sumter Landing in Mallory Square. Even during the winter months, I honestly don't think the golf cart traffic is bad at all. I have never seen a "traffic jam" in a golf cart. The only time I see any back up of traffic is at the traffic light at Colony Plaza. I can't imagine the golf cart traffic is any worse with the CC bridge open than the traffic is north of 44. Others may not agree with me though.

By the way, now that the CC bridge is open, where can you go in a golf cart? Can you get to Brownwood?

You can now go anywhere north of 44 via golf car, it's about 7-1/2 miles to Paddock Square

I think we can easily solve the traffic problem.

Tonight will put up a toll booth on the middle of the bridge.

I think the same thing, when I see those homes that backup to MMPs and main thoroughfares?!

The MMP is in my backyard but we do have a big backyard!

Lets see, for months "when is the bridge going to open?" Now bridge open, "golf cart traffic is a big problem".

It will be tougher to live with the noise caused by the golf carts.

My wife and have walked thru C-C many times along the MMP. Some of the houses are very close to the MMP. With the golf carts whizzing by at 25-30 mph it will be like have a raceway in their back yards.

Of course, it will only be for a short time. I think most people in C-C will move out after a year because they will get tired of having to turn left onto CR 468.
