Default Covid testing in tv

I've been here for a week, and have been invited to see an aging and beloved relative. The family would be more comfortable with the visit were I to get a (negative) COVID test before I visit.

Where can I go to get one? Also, if anyone has some experience to share with me as far as how quickly the results were available, that would also be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not in TV yet so I can't tell you where to go, but I was working on a job recently that required daily Covid tests. We had results in about 20 minutes.

It's only good for one day as you can test positive a day after you tested negative. Food for thought.

There was a place set up outside next to Wawa on 441 (near the hospital) that was doing them in the last week or so. Not sure if they are still. I imagine you call Wawa and ask them.

Walgreens by Rohan Rec has a drive thru testing site. Remember there are a lot of false negatives and some false positives. As another poster stated, you could be exposed to COVID on your way home from testing.

Or a false positive or false negative which is common with the "fast" tests.

TVHCOVIDTEST.COM will bring you to The Villages Health site. Result given the same say and it is self-administered. I recommend it.

Walgreens, CVS. But why bother. Negative today could be positive tomorrow. Its a waste of time

Donate blood. They test you and give you results in two days.

Yes it's a drive in on 441 just west of WAWA on the north side. It's been going on this week as far as I can see. Agree with comment that once you get the results (don't know how long it takes) you could have caught Covid without knowing it. I think distancing will always be the safest route still. Virtual hug to you all.

These tests take about 2 days to get results. You need to quarantine till you get it back.

The Villages Health offers the quick test takes 15 minutes to get results.

That is why you need to quarantine from the time you take the test until you meet your relative to ensure you stay negative.

The Villages Health has free testing in their parking lots. Must register first (on website). You do your own swab. Results in 15 min. Easy Peasy!

Paramount Urgent Care on 466 has COVID-19 testing. They offer same day results within 3-4 hours. I know 2 people who got their testing done there. Go early - sometimes there is a long wait.
