My husband grew up with his family only lighting their Christmas tree at nights and all day on Christmas Eve...

I'm thinking about keeping the lights on all day when we are at home...what is your 'tradition'?

Both indoor and outdoor lights on from dusk until 11:00 and all day on Christmas day.

I have them both on timers.

I like keeping them on because it looks so cheerful. And we need more cheerful this year.

And with modern lights, they use almost no electricity and do not emit any heat, so why not.
