Default Model numbers under recall

Garmin said Nuvi models included in the recall are the 200W, 250W, 260W, 7xx and 7xxT (where xx is a two-digit number). To determine if a unit is affected, customers can visit www.garmin.com/nuvibatterypcbrecall and enter their unit's serial number.

I checked mine also. Not a recall number. PS: Will they ever have an updated GPS for golf cart trails?

Thanks for the heads up. Checked our Nuvi and fortunately it was not on recall list. Your post was much appreciated.

I did e-mail Garmin and asked & they said it was not in their current plans. I guess 20k golf carts is not a big enough market to spend the time on. BTW, I think Garmin got it right with the one-time map update charge. one price (~80 online), lifetime maps, 4 updates/year.

I agree Macro, the lifetime map updates is a great deal!
