On the happy side it’s “A Wonderful Life”, on the twisted side it’s “Bad Santa” with Billie Bob Thornton. But nothing beats the original half hour cartoon version of “The Grinch”.

Borrowed Hearts is a more current Christmas movie that's heartwarming (though I liked Bad Santa too!)

After the film noir movie and talk at 12 am on TCM this Saturday night( Kiss ofDeath ) there is a noir which isn’t actually a Christmas movie but has a Christmas theme it’s called lady in the lake with Robert Montgomery as Phillip Marlowe it’s well worth watching

Lady in the Lake is coming on Sunday Dec 20 at 2am on TCM, I just looked it up. I also remember seeing the film and on IMDB I have given it a 7, that's a decent rating and worth seeing.

The Villages Florida

I always liked Lloyd Nolan. Appearing in an episode of Murder She Wrote in 1984, he didn't reveal during filming he had terminal cancer. He died six weeks before the show aired.

The Villages Florida

Audrey Totter the female lead in Lady in the Lake, turned down the role of Old Rose in Titantic in 1997, she said she wanted to remain retired. She lived to 2013 age of 95.
