Default Is there a Better Business Bureau or other like agencies in TV?

I have a service contractor that needs to be taken to task for negligent service with resulting damage.

Has anybody ever used small claims court proceedings with any success?

Thumbs up

If you have a problem with any business, go to Seniors against Crime. They are located in the sheriff's bldg. on 466. I think they are with the FL Attorney General's office.

Default Graciegirl on steroids.

Kind of like Bambi challenging Godzilla though. In some universes, Bambi probably wins.

Try going to Seniors vs. Crime. They do work with the Fl Attorney General's office. It will cost you nothing and they do a great job. We filed a complaint with them a few years back and things were resolved satisfactorily.

If you have a problem with any business anywhere, there are three good places to go in TV to report them and to get some help.

As mentioned previously, Seniors Vs Crime is one of them. They have two offices in TV - one at the Sumter County Sheriff's Office on 466 near Morse Boulevard and one at the Marion County Sheriff's Office on Mulberry Lane at Buena Vista Blvd. Their numbers are 352-753-2799, Extension 4253 (Sumter Office) or 352-753-7775 (Marion Office).

Another way, already mentioned, is to report them to the Better Business Bureau of Central Florida. You can do that online at http://centralflorida.bbb.org/Find-Business-Reviews/.

The third way is to report them to Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Consumer Services. Again, you can do that online at http://csapp.800helpfla.com/cspublic...esssearch.aspx.

Before doing business with anyone, you can also check out a business with all three of the above agencies.
