Sort of reminds me of sardines sold in a can. Makes me even more grateful for the lifestyle here in Florida and beats complaining about some lawn ornament. We are a blessed group!

Reminds me of that old bath soap commercial. "Don't you wish everyone used Dial".

I think I see a spot in First Class. Will they let hang on up there if I only have a coach handrail?

A few years back I was in Bejing to catch a connecting flight. I experienced this on the shuttle bus that took me from one terminal to another. I got on and it was impossibly crowded. At the first stop I was think that I felt bad for the people waiting because they were going to have to wait for the next shuttle. WRONG!!!! The bus stopped, the doors opened and more people got on. There were several "pushers" outside pushing them into the bus. The people on the bus got moved a bit further to the back and crammed closer together. This happened about three more times. I started about 1/4 of the way from the front of the bus and ended about 3/4 of the way back. Needless to say, we were a lot closer together even though I wouldn't have thought it possible when I first got on. It took over an hour to get to our terminal and this was a 1:00am.

People in Asia are just used to this. It's a very different life over there.

Sounds like it pays to plan ahead and make sure you are near the door so you can get out at your stop!
