Ours don't oscillate, it's a ceiling fan on our front porch.
We meanly installed it to keep cool.

It helps somewhat for those biting mosquitos but our legs get bitten
by the no see 'ems at ground level.

Maybe a low oscillating fan would work better

The mosquitoes were much worse in Ohio then they are down here.
