Thanks for the welcome Bill-n-Brillo and Pturner! I plan to read the forums and stick around for a while but man, we're getting swamped with Trick-or-Treaters tonight. I actually had to send my husband out on a 'candy run'!

Oh, I love it!! Welcome justanormalgirl. Pull up a chair and sit a spell...after the little trick-or-treaters settle down. You know what? We just moved to Pennsylvania. We were all excited and bought candy for Halloween. I put it in my little pumpkin, turned the porch light on and waited...and waited...and three children showed up.

Will do bkcunningham1 and thank you for the invite. We finally have a lull in the Halloween action so I can sit for a minute. Last year we only had about 10 kids but this year we got swamped. My poor little dogs are gated in the laundry room so they don't run off with the kids, I think they'll be glad when the trick-or-treaters are gone and they can come back out to snuggle on the couch!

Bummer!!

Reminds me of where we used to live. Private lane with 8 houses on it, we were the first house, lived there 31 years................and had maybe 2 trick-or-treaters the whole time.

We still bought candy pretty much every year......and ate it all ourselves!!! Happy Halloween!

Thank you K9-Lovers and graciegirl. Not sure when we're heading south just yet, we have some things to take care of up here first. It's getting cold though so I'm getting ready, anything below 70 is too cold for me!
