You seem to think everyone knows whaat you are talking about, I for one, have NO idea. I have never thought about "legal fights" between CDDs. It's an interesting concept. I will be interested in just what is going on.

One thing is certain, there is no shortage of litigation in the US!

Litigation is our national pastime, isn't it?

Seems like a foolish waste of time and money that will ultimately be unsuccessful. But hey, I'm not a resident of CDD 6 and maybe they have the funds to spare.

CDD 7 is on a mission to get the commercial properties to pay their fair share for maintenance in TV. Nothing wrong with that.

I do not know the facts of the law suit and a battle in court costs too much $ for each side.
"Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize for anything". Harry S Truman

PS- I'm rooting for district 7!

CDD 6 Board Chairman John Calandro said that his district suffered a $236,000 hit to the budget because of CDD 7’s decision not to vote in favor of the creation of a second Project Wide Advisory Committee, for community development districts south of State Road 44. The creation of a PWAC 2 could have provided substantial savings for CDDs remaining in the original PWAC. District officials last year provided figures that estimated CDDs south of County Road 466 suffered a hit of about $1 million due CDD 7’s failure to sign onto the PWAC II agreement.
From the site we can't mention.

There is a lot more to this for example how long should the agreement run.

Golf Carts were reported massing on the CCD 7 border overnight.
Just normal planned exercises a CCD spokesman reported.

This makes no sense to me. It seems to be saying that one district is suing another district for not joining with them to help the first district save money? Seriously? Can I sue my next door neighbor for not joining Sams Club with me? I mean I could have save money using the referral reward!

CCD 6 is reported to be bringing in mercenaries from CCD5, and pleading for more golf carts from other friendly CCD's.
Whole thing could escalate over next few days.
Pope is praying for peace, and reconciliation!
